How to get ahead... as a young local civil servant?

Are you…..ambitious, motivated and anxious to get to the top? Then you don’t want to miss this year’s Talent for Governance event.

Together with a moderator and civil servants from 6 different nationalities this afternoon (starting from 15.00 hr until 17.30 hr followed by drinks and snacks) gives you the opportunity to:

  • share your input on what the best ways are to get ahead.
  • Do you need networks, brains, training or is it a case of a good pair of elbows?
  • learn, from Talent for Governance ‘Talents’ from Uganda, Indonesia, Turkey, Ghana and the Philippines, about experiences on the subject;
  • find common ground in the work you do, but also recognize the differences in making a career in a foreign country versus in The Netherlands;
  • learn about ways to expand your network of international colleagues even further.

Who can sign up?
Members of the Talent for Governance Network, Dutch and international young civil servants who have an interest in local governance issues.    

Costs?
Participation is free of charge. Travelling to and from The Hague should be paid at your own expenses.
