We would like to inform you on the possibility to apply for the MTEC Decentralisation and EU Accession programme that will be held in The Hague and Brussels from 16 until 27 November 2009.
Main objective of the programme is to train participants in preparing and coordinating decentralisation processes in their own countries, as a result of (having prospect to) entering the European Union.
Target group of this programme are civil servants working in the field of public administration, decentralisation, local governance, EU membership preparation, and other related topics. Participants should work for relevant ministries or decentralised governments, local government associations or public administration training institutes and have ample working experience. All participants should have an excellent working knowledge of the English language.
Eligible countries are Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia.
Costs of this programme are paid for by the Dutch government (travel to and within the Netherlands, accomodation, health insurance, the course itself and the study materials). Lunch and coffee/tea during the course are also included and dinners are taken care of as far as possible.
